I’ve seen these earrings for a while now but I never liked the idea of them. But you know once you start seeing them literally everywhere, you start getting drawn in and can’t help but purchase it. Yup, that’s definitely what happened here. I was in Urban Outfitters while we were in New Orleans for the Ariana Grande concert and these happened to be on sale along with a black pair. Red stood out to me so I decided to pick them up and I’m glad I did! They’re such a nice pop of color to any neutral outfit. As for my choker necklaces, they are such nice and dainty pieces that I have fallen IN LOVE with. I’ve seen these styles floating around as well, especially during festival season, but I never got around to getting my own. Azil Boutique reached out to me and was ever so kind to let me pick out a few pieces and when I saw these, I knew this was my time! Make sure to check out their website because they have such unique jewelry pieces that you wouldn’t want to pass up. Xx
I know I know…. this outfit looks like it should be worn when it’s cooler outside but hear me out. This shirt is very lightweight and you can never go wrong with linen pants! I sweated just a tad but overall, air was still able to circulate through my clothes to keep me cool. For those who don’t like showing too much skin or having clothes too tight on your body, this would be a nice alternative. I’ll always love a good button down because they’re so easy to throw on and just head out the door. I have many versions of the classic white button down and a few printed ones, but never any striped ones. I’ve had my eye on this item on Zara’s website for SO LONG and it was finally marked down being apart of their summer sale they have every year. As soon as it hit 12 o’clock on the first day the sale started, this was the first item purchased.
If you ever decide you really want something from Zara, I suggest waiting for the 2 sales they always have. First one is their mid-season sale where they’re trying to get rid of their summer items and bring in the new fall collection. Most of the time, I only want a couple of items from Zara because I can never justify spending that much money on one item that I could find at H&M or Forever 21 that is very similar and cheaper. But I must say, Zara has some really nice pieces that could last you a lifetime. I have this basic black and white striped tee that I bought about 3 or 4 years ago and it’s still my top worn piece ’til this day. Along with these pinstripe denim pants I purchased 2 years ago and I wear them every chance I get.
The next sale would normally be in December and it’s 35% off the ENTIRE site. Now 35% may not be much but it’s the only discount you’ll ever get from Zara so you might as well take advantage of it. I just put all of the items I had my eye one the day before and once it hits midnight, I purchased everything within 2 seconds. I never had any problems with the site crashing, but I was trying to check out on my phone and for some reason I had problems there. So maybe just do everything on a desktop to avoid conflicts, especially for the first day of the sale.
But if you haven’t checked your local Zara, I highly suggest going just to see what they have left. I know online they still have some nice pieces left but you may have to dig through piles and piles of stuff thrown everywhere in stores. If you’re not ready to have an anxiety attack, like I get when I go in Forever 21, then maybe just check out the website. Stress-free and categorised at your convenience.
