I’ve been feening to go back to LA for the LONGEST time now, and we usually plan a big trip like this months and MONTHS in advance, but it was so impulsive and last minute this time around that I really didn’t have time to think about it. Those two weeks flew by within a blink of an eye and next thing I know, I’m at LAX waiting for a shuttle to go pick up a rental car. I stuffed four outfits, 2 pairs of shoes, my makeup, and all bathroom essentials I needed into a carry on and went with the flow of events. We stayed in LA for a day and a half and then San Diego for two and half days so you can imagine the constant running around we were doing everyday trying to accomplish everything we had on our list.
Thursday, Oct 12
This was the only day we actually had time to take pictures before the sun went down and also decided to try a new brunch spot, along with many other food joints, before heading out to San Diego for the remainder of the trip. I ran across Sweet Chick randomly on someone’s insta-story a few days before we left and when I saw that they had shrimp and grits on the menu, I was instantly SOLD. It is located on Fairfax Ave literally right across from Supreme, and we went on a Thursday so you know the line for drop day was wrapped around the corner. They also have a couple of locations in New York as well.
