Keyonna and I heard of this new coffee shop that was about 45 minutes-an hour away from us and we decided to check it out on a day that we were both off. It is located in Foley, AL, right off the main street headed towards the outlet, and it has such a vintage/rustic vibe to it. As pictured above, you can tell by the interior that it is perfect setting for a coffee shop. Don’t get me wrong – we all love and nice white and bright interior but since coffee is dark, the decor should be too right? And don’t worry about lighting because they have a huge window that lets in all the natural lighting.
I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but I do enjoy iced coffee from time to time! An iced chai latte is always my go-to drink whenever I’m feeling like I need the pick me up. And sometimes the cinnamon can be a bit overpowering, but this one had just the right amount. Not too much, or not enough to where I taste more coffee.
As for the outfit – I thrifted my jacket for a whopping $3.50! That’s a steal considering the fact that contrast stitching is such a big trend now and they can go up to $100 depending on where you look. So I was super excited I found this when looking at a Goodwill right down the street from me. It’s more of a button up shirt, but I think it’s perfect for the weather at the moment because it’s very lightweight.
And I feel like this outfit went very well with the aesthetics of this place. Very dark, but neutral at the same time because of the shade of my trousers. I didn’t know what to expect when going here, but I felt right at home as soon as I walked in the door.
I’m slowly getting into interior decorating (more so just looking at inspo) and I can’t stop thinking about how I will decorate my house in the future! I know I want some rooms to be white and bright for picture purposes, but I also really enjoy the dark/rustic look of some houses. I have a TON of pictures tabbed on Instagram under ‘Room Inspo‘ so I can get an idea of what I want. Or am I just the only one? Lol
